Nora Burnard Obituary Nora "Tudy" Burnard, age 76, died Thursday, January 1, 2015 peacefully in her sleep at home. She was born in Pequot Lakes, MN on October 27, 1938 to Riley Sr. and Ingaborg (Knutson) Gamble. She was adopted and raised in Ideal Township by Edith Clarquist. Tudy married George Burnard on September 18, 1955 in Lake Edward Township. Tudy was a stay at home mom and together with George they raised 4 daughters. Tudy is survived by George Burnard, her husband of 59 years; daughters, Kim (Marty) Judd, Jamie Burnard, Loni Burnard (Randy Billman), and Beth Burnard; grandchildren, Branden (April) Burnard, Kelli Headlee, Ryan Headlee (Amy Pikula), Travis Cizek; 4-great grandchildren; brother, Clyde (Pamela) Gamble; sister, Janet McKinney and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents,4-brothers and 3-sisters. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with Pastor Jim Rogers officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lake Edward Cemetery with lunch to follow at the Lake Edward Town Hall.
