Richard Anhalt Obituary Richard (Dick) Anhalt, 79, of Brainerd, died at home Saturday, August 18, surrounded by his loving family. Dick was born July 22, 1933, at Forest Lake, MN to Carl and Sophia (Seiler) Anhalt. Married in June, 1952, to Jean Hovde, in Minneapolis. They moved to Brainerd in 1955. Dick will be missed by Jean, his wife of 60 years, daughters Paula (Mike) Lund, Debbie Casanova, Sherry (Steve) Wiltse, sons Jeff (Marlene) Anhalt and Michael Anhalt. Ten grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Malusky, Jon (Cara) Sell, Sara (Sean) Shaw, Caitlin Casanova, Dan (Heather) Hofer, Laura Hofer, Cara (Jacob) Moen, Joseph Anhalt, Paul Anhalt, and Lori Anhalt. Seven great grandchildren, Matt Malusky, Mya Malusky, Brandon Sell, Taylor Johnson, Stella Shaw, Jonus Hofer and Keenun Hofer. Preceded in death by his parents and a great grandson Marc Malusky.
