Ronald Johnson Obituary RONALD H. JOHNSON, longtime resident of Baxter, died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at his apartment at Good Samaritan Society-Woodland in Brainerd. He was born February 23, 1917 in Motley, MN. He had been a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, the 49 ers Union, and the Eagles Club. Ronald married Della Bourassa in Sisseton, South Dakota July 30, 1938. Survivors include- son Ronald B. (Ann) Johnson of Baxter, Lynn R. (Gary) Getty of Queen Creek, AZ, grandchildren- Jeffrey (Karen) Johnson, AZ, Denise (Brad) Branch, Eagan Tony (Laurie) Johnson, Ft. Ripley, Terry (Kelly) Johnson, Rice, Shannon (Mark) Ziegler, North Carolina, Chasen (Veronica) Getty, North Carolina, Kamin (Chuck) Havens, AZ, Shae (Glenn) Pifer, AZ greatgrandchildren- Melissa Janssen, Danielle, Brittni and Blake Branch, Erica Johnson, Nathan and Joshua Smith, Madison Troska, Alex Ziegler, Jacoby Getty, Maichen and Anelie Havens, Aspen, Brekken and Treyden Pifer Preceded in death by his wife Della, his parents John O. and Edith Johnson, 2-sisters and 2-brothers. Services will be 3:00 PM Friday, October 8 at Woodland 300 Building Chapel with visitation the hour before services. Deacon Roger Marks will officiate. Burial will be in Motley City Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd. Visitaton will begin the hour before services.
