Anthony Bednar Obituary Anthony Kenneth Bednar, 57, of Brainerd, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Oakridge Homes in Aitkin. Services for Tony will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 2:00p.m., at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather at 1:00p.m. for a visitation. Tony was born September 16, 1966, in Brainerd, the son of Jerome E. and Dorothy J. (Holler) Bednar. After high school, Tony worked for Grand Casino Mille Lacs for many years. His family affectionately referred to him as "Forest Gump, Jr." because Tony LOVED to run and participated in many 5K races. At too young an age, Tony was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease and suffered its affects for many years. Tony will be dearly missed and is forever loved by his siblings, Jeff (Julian), Gary (Peggy), Brent (Bonnie), David (Amy), Steve (Karen), Lori, and Kim and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roman.
