Arlene 'Bunny' Brodeur Obituary Arlene "Bunny" Rose (Lazorik) Brodeur, 74, passed away on March 10, 2025, at home. Arlene was born on August 27, 1950, to Harry E. and Bernice Larson. She grew up in NE Minneapolis. She moved to Brainerd in 1985 and raised her family on Upper South Long Lake. Arlene was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa, MN former member of First Lutheran Church in Brainerd. Arlene retired from Mesaba Airlines at the Brainerd Airport after 22 years. She loved to travel, cooking, baking, gardening, reading, being outdoors, but she especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Arlene was a rock star grandma, and she was always there for whoever needed her! Arlene loved to volunteer - she was active with her church, Nisswa Womens Club, Northland Arboretum, and Lowell and Riverside schools in Brainerd. Arlene married her soulmate, Michael Brodeur, on February 14, 2009. Arlene will be greatly missed by her son, Paul G. (Shawna) Lazorik, daughter, Amy R. (Joseph) Enge, stepdaughter, Nicole (Jason) Swenson; grandchildren, Elaina, Grace, Lauren, Colton, and Gavin; step grandchildren, Ethan, Caleb, and Cloey; also survived by brothers, Don (Pearl) Larson, Duane (Luann) Larson, Ron (Colleen) Larson, Rick (Liz) Larson; her loving dog, Jackie; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Michael; her parents; nephew Jacob; stepson Jeremy. Arlenes Funeral will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 11am. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are with Nelson-Doran Funeral Home.
