Arnold Kort Obituary Arnold R. Kort, age 85, resident of Pillager, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at St. Josephs Hospital in Brainerd. Arnold was born November 17, 1934 in Morrison County to Charles and Edna (Childers) Kort. After high school Arnold honorably served his country in the United States Army. Arnold was united in marriage to Irene Hines on October 24, 1970 in Sisseton, South Dakota. He worked at Fritzs Resort in Nisswa for 28 years, Arnold loved working outside and being able to talk with seasonals and kids. His greatest joy was spending time with his kids, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Arnold is survived by his children, Cheryl (Ron) Hill, Donald (Donna Larson) Kort of Pillager, and Gina Kort and Darlene Kort of Washington; grandchildren, Nathan (Ashley) Hill, and Taylor (Tyler) Hill; great-grandchildren, Skyler Hill, Kynleigh Hill, Oliver Hill, Reese Miles, and Asher Hill; sister, Carol (Thornly) Kort. Arnold is preceded in death by his wife, Irene; daughter, Carrie; his parents; three brothers and three sisters. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home. A visitation will be for one hour prior to services. Interment will be held at a later date at Wildwood Cemetery in Pillager. Arrangements by Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd.
