Arthur Durham Obituary Arthur W. Durham, age 92, resident of Brainerd, died on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls, MN. Arthur was born on April 28, 1918 in Brainerd to William E. and Martha Marie Louise (Blanck) Durham. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked in sawmills in Tomah, Washington and also Oregon. Arthur is a member of Zion Lutheran Church, V.F.W. Post 1647, and American Legion Post #255 Survivors include his sister, Eileen Durham of Brainerd, Daughter, Athena Martell of Albany, Oregon, 3-nephews, William, Charles and Robert Durham He is preceded in death by his wife, Winona, 2-brothers, Robert and Donald, and sister Kathleen; Services will be held 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Zion Lutheran Church in Brainerd with Rev. Mark Kleckner officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery with military honors provided by the Brainerd V.F.W. Post 1647 Color Guard. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon Tuesday at the church.
