Barbara Joanne Dalby, 95, of Brainerd, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2026.

Born on January 24, 1931, in Brainerd to Melville and Leona (Maghan) Bredenberg, Barbara was a lifelong member of the community she loved.

She graduated from Brainerd High School in 1948 and Brainerd Junior College in 1950, and later worked for Northwest Airlines before marrying the love of her life, Oris E. Dalby, on March 8, 1958. Barbara was a faithful member of First Lutheran Church and cherished her family above all.

She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Thomas (Gloria) Dalby and Jon (Angie) Dalby, and her grandchildren, Shanna, Bo, Braydon, and Riley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oris; her parents; her sister, Joyce Gallant; and an infant sister.

Private services will be held at a later date.
