Barbara Day Obituary Barbara Day died on the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 18, 2021, at St. Alice Catholic Church in Pequot Lakes. Family and friends are invited to gather Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Nelson Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. A luncheon will follow and later a burial at Maple Lake Cemetery in Maple Lake. Barbara was born in July of 1933. She was passionate about art and teaching her students. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Alice Catholic Church for more than 45 years. She loved tending her flower garden. She is survived by her daughters, Catherine and Elizabeth; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many beloved friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial are preferred to Our Lady of the Lakes Building Fund.
