Bernie Tautges Obituary Bernadette Jane Tautges, age 61, of Brainerd, died on Friday, February 3, 2023, at Essentia Health. Bernie was born to Raymond and Ruby (Thorson) Tautges on March 7, 1961, in Brainerd. She had a quick wit and a bright personality that could always make you laugh. Her hobbies included biking, enjoying the outdoors, watching the Vikings, playing basketball, and practicing ASL. She loved making banana bread for others. She was a long-time member of St. Francis Catholic Church and was employed by UPS for many years. She is survived by her children, Jennifer (Tom) Braun, Michelle Tautges, Jacob (Minga Deleon) Tautges, Nathan (Ashley Buss) Tautges; grandchildren, Abbey, Ella, Emma, Harlie, Alexis, and Carter; mother, Ruby Tautges; siblings, Theresa Dahl, Cathy Tautges, Ruth (Brad) Kuhlman, Sue (Bob) Huot, Mary (Peter) Arsenault, Michael (Deb Bertrum) Tautges, Patty (Jim) Hartman, and Bobby (Peggy) Tautges; special friends, Thomas Besmehn and Rick (Sue) OLeary; and many other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Tautges. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date.
