Bertrum Caswell Obituary Bertrum Bert Caswell was born December 3, 1922 to Thomas and Frances Caswell, they had 6 kids, Bert, Ray, Dick, Tom, Frank and Rosemary. He and his high school sweetheart, Gladys (Dybvik) Caswell, were married for 49 years until her death. Also, married to Ramona Mona Davis Caswell for 21 years until her death. Their combined families include, Berts - Nancy, Laurie, Rob, Randi (Gary) Buckley, Melanie (Harley) Jackson, Pederson, Stellan, Roan and Ravn. Monas - Nikki (Gary), Candy (Gary), Chere (Jack), Toni (Brad) Randee (Pete), Todd; 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. CDR Caswell was a Navy Pilot, plus served in the reserves, totaling 29 years of service. After 32 years, he retired from Honeywell and moved from Golden Valley to Brainerd. Bert enjoyed church, square dancing, Geritol Frolics, golfing, fishing, Lions, but especially spending time with his family and friends. Celebration of Life service for Bert will be held at Lutheran Church of the Cross, Nisswa, Friday, August 2nd at 11:00 a.m., reception at 10 am, with lunch to follow.
