Betty Seline Obituary Betty Jane Seline, age 95, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025 in her residence at Woodland Good Samaritan Center in Brainerd, MN. Betty was born May 13, 1929 in Springfield, IL to William and Agnes Shafer. She graduated from Pequot Lakes High School in 1948. Betty married Lawrence W. Seline on May 21, 1950. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She was a member of First Lutheran Church for 75 years and devoted many hours volunteering there. Survivors include her children: Linda (Dwight) Thiesse, Gary (Sue) Seline, Sandy (Mark) Cosert, Sue (Kevin) Anderson; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; her brother Tom Shafer and nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence, brother Bob and sister Dorothy. Services will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 10:30am, at the First Lutheran Church in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather at 9:30 am for the visitation. Interment will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls at 1pm.
