Bonnie Anderson Obituary Bonnie J. Anderson, 96, of Baxter, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. A beloved wife, mother, friend, and pillar of strength, Bonnie lived a full and beautiful life rooted in compassion, joy, and unwavering faith. Born June 13, 1928, with a heart as generous as it was strong. Bonnie married the love of her life, Oscar Anderson, on May 31, 1947, in Eagle Lake. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and enduring love. Their marriage was a testament to true partnership and mutual devotion, and their love story remains an inspiration to all who knew them. Bonnie had an incredible zest for life. She enjoyed bowling and golfing, often outpacing much younger players with her steady hand and competitive spirit. Whether on the lanes or the fairway, Bonnie brought joy and camaraderie to every game. But her truest calling was service. A deeply faithful woman, Bonnie was a vibrant and tireless presence in her church ministry. From faithfully counting the weekly offerings to offering friends' rides for doctors appointments or grocery runs, Bonnie did it allwith a smile, a kind word, and a heart wide open. Her acts of kindness were countless, her humility unwavering, and her faithbigger than any challenge life could bring. She leaves behind a legacy not only of love, but of actionof living out faith in every step, every hug, every helping hand. She will be missed dearly by her son, Charles of Atlanta; daughter, Lois (Scott) Kitchenmaster; grandchildren, Sara (Levi) Dopp, Shawn Kitchenmaster, and Alicia Kitchenmaster; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Allison, and Ariana; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oscar; and Oscars eight siblings. A Celebration of Bonnies Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour before services and stay for sweet treats after. Interment at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley will be private.
