Obituary

Bonnie LeDoux Obituary Bonnie Lois LeDoux, 95, of Brainerd, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025, surrounded by her family. Bonnie was born to Herbert and Alice Haugland on January 22, 1930, in Litchfield, Minnesota. She lived a life defined by resilience and unwavering love for her family. As a devoted single mother to five, Bonnie's greatest joy came from spending time with her children, and grandchildren. Her warm smile could light up the room, and her laugh was contagious. Bonnie was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brainerd and enjoyed volunteering at The Center, where she created homemade greeting cards that reflected her creativity. A true lover of life's simple pleasures, Bonnie cherished moments with a good cappuccino (or Bloody Mary, depending on the day), dancing, and the companionship of her treasured cat, Addie. She will be deeply missed by her children: David (Luanne) Hallgren, Dennis (Rose) Hallgren, Cheryl Johnson, Corky (Lana) LeDoux, and Cindy (Dave) Jasinski. Bonnie also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Bonnie is now reunited in Heaven with her parents, Herbert and Alice; her siblings Illa Mae Sorce and Gerald Bud' Haugland; and her beloved twin sister, Betty Sawyer. A memorial service honoring Bonnie's life will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brainerd, with a visitation beginning one hour prior. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the church, where family and friends are welcome to come together and share memories.
