Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 18th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd. A visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. at Nelson-Doran the night before and also for one hour prior to Mass at the Church. Interment will be at Mission Township Cemetery.
Brian was born to Raymond and Carolyn (Skoog) Frisch on February 21, 1958 in Brainerd. Feeding people was Brian’s language of love. For 35 years, he was an integral part of the Madden's kitchen, where his hard work and dedication touched countless lives. Outside of work, Brian was happiest cheering on a variety of football, baseball and basketball teams, especially his beloved Minnesota Vikings. He also enjoyed spending time fishing, playing cards, watching the History Channel, or watching Jeopardy! alongside his wife, Connie. He was a steadfast source of support, a patient listener, and an avid reader who could never pass up a good book. Blessed with a remarkable memory—a true steel-trap mind—and a green thumb, Brian had a gift for remembering the details that mattered and nurturing the things he cared for. Above all, he will be remembered for his generous heart, and the love he shared with his family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Connie; three children, Brandon, Brianna (Hans Schutt) Frisch, and Sarah Frisch; two grandsons, Arlo and Ragnar Schutt; two siblings, Brad (Beth) Frisch, Kari (Diane Anderson) Frisch and many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Special thank you to Chef Mike for his catering and many years of friendship.
