Brian Theodore
Quast
Nov 28, 1962 — Feb 3, 2026
Brian T. Quast was born on November 28, 1962 to parents Charles R. Quast and Darlene M. Quast in Minneapolis, MN. Growing up he and his family resided in Coon Rapids, MN where he attended school and was an active hockey player for several years. Before his senior year, his family moved to East Bethel, MN and he then graduated from St. Francis High School. Growing up, Brian had a love for hockey and a passion for music. Everyone who knew him can agree that music was a staple in his life.
December 1985 marked the arrival of Brian's first daughter, Brindy and a few years later his second daughter, Angela, in July 1989.
Brian worked for several years as a painter/wood finisher and took pride in the projects he finished. He most enjoyed camping near the north shore with his daughters and enjoying the company of family and friends.
In 2016 Brian moved to the Brainerd lakes area to be closer to his youngest daughter to help him with medical challenges. Throughout his years in the Brainerd lakes area, he developed a love for taking walks and enjoying his time in nature and playing with youngest granddaughter, Faith. Most importantly, within those years, he gave his life to Christ, our savior!
Brian was blessed with five grandchildren. Shelby, Lincoln, Brooklynn, Faith and Colter.
On Tuesday, February 3rd, Brian left this earth and went home to live in eternity with his creator and is preceded in death by both parents, Charles and Darlene Quast and granddaughter, Brooklynn.
He is survived by his children: Brindy (Mike) Falz of Princeton, MN; Angela (Jonathan) Tramm of Brainerd, MN and his grandchildren, Shelby, Lincoln, Faith and Colter.
Siblings: Chuck Quast of St. Paul, MN and Carrie (Jim) Allen of Bradford, MN.
Brian is deeply missed, but his memory will always remain through stories and of course, his favorite songs.
A private gathering will be held at Victor Hill Cemetery in Wyoming, MN in June with Brian's close family and friends to share special memories and lay him to rest.
