Bruce Lambert, of Pequot Lakes, passed away peacefully at home on September 16, 2026, following a four-month battle with cancer.

Bruce was born August 18, 1943, in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, the son of Howard and Edith (Polzin) Lambert. On October 26, 1963, he married Diane Monson. Together, Bruce and Diane built a life centered around family and were the proud parents of five children.

Bruce will be deeply missed by his wife, Diane; children, Joe (Michelle Kyar) Lambert, Cathy (Steven Ebinger), Karen (Doug Knox), and Rick (Susie Dubuque) Lambert; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Edie (Hal Peterson), Howard (Nancy Carnes) Lambert, and Fred Lambert.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda; granddaughter, Tiffany; sisters, Sharon and Sharol; and parents, Howard and Edith.

Bruce leaves behind a large and loving family, and his presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 9, 2026, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to Mass at the church and stay for a luncheon to follow. Private interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
