Carol Brand, 85, of Brainerd, MN peacefully passed away on May 29th, 2026.

Carol was born in St. Paul, MN in 1941 to Carl and Mary Schwartz. Carol attended Our Lady of Peace High School in St. Paul. In 1964, Carol married Edmund Brand of St. Paul and they went on to have two children, Paul and Patricia (Patti). Carol was a decades long employee at Metro Dental Clinic in St. Paul where she worked as a receptionist and in the scheduling department.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jim and Roger; husband; and granddaughter, Nicole. She is survived by her son, Paul (Karena) Brand; daughter, Patricia Brand; granddaughter, Olivia Brand; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Carol wanted to recognize Debra Haak, Shandra Shanor, Barry McDonald, Jolene Swails, Chris Cross and David Brand as honorary pallbearers. A brief memorial service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at Good Samaritan Society - Bethany in Brainerd.

The children of Carol would like to thank the entire staff at Good Samaritan – Bethany for all the kind and caring actions given to Carol during her 13 years at their facility.
