Carole Olsen Obituary Carole R. Olsen, age 83, of Brainerd, died on Monday, January 6, 2025 at Essentia Health St. Josephs Medical Center. Carole was born on March 15, 1941 to Attle and Lillian (Viall) Olsen in Mankato. After her many years working at K-Mart, she became known to many as Peanut. She was a selfless and loving mother and grandmother. Her favorite hobbies were making jelly and cookies for her grandchildren. She could often be found watching football or baseball. She is survived by her children, Wade (Dawn) Hollingsworth, Amy (Sandy Verry) Hollingsworth and Jill (John) Bennett; grandchildren, Cadence, Dakota, Sterling, Devin, Corbin, Briston and Dylan; three siblings; and many other nieces, nephews, and close friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law. Interment at Evergreen Memorial Gardens will take place at a later date.
