Carolyn Ruesken Obituary Carol Ruesken of Brainerd, Minnesota passed away Wednesday, July 13 2016, at the age of 78 in her home. She was born to John and Katherine (Floryanc) Marcec on November 18, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, son (Randy), 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charlie Ruesken; daughters: Belinda (Paul) Abrahamson, of Merrifield and Gail (Terry) Oseland, of Nisswa; son, Crieg Ruesken, of Brainerd; and grandchildren: Brett Abrahamson, Erik Oseland, Kylie (Abrahamson) Aufderheide, Christopher Oseland, Katie Ruesken, Kendra Ruesken and 1 great granddaughter. Carol was a Homemaker, Bookkeeper for their business, Mother and Grandmother. Her family was her whole life. She was a fantastic wife and a great mother to her children and an adored Grandmother to her grandchildren. She loved to travel and was an outstanding cook. Her loyalty and dedication to those she loved was unmatched/unconditional. These traits and her spirit will live on through those closest to her. The family would like to give thanks to her Doctor Dr. Li Essentia Health, Essentia health 6th floor nurses and Aides, the employees at Northern Lakes Assisted Living, St. Croix Hospice, Bethany Good Samaritan for their excellent care of Carol.
