Carrie Franzen Obituary Carrie Ann (Wing) Franzen, 45, of Brainerd, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather Monday evening from 5-7 p.m., at Nelson Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and one hour prior to Mass on Tuesday at the church. Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Carrie was born February 28, 1976, in Brainerd, the daughter of Randy and Julie (Dieter) Wing. Growing up she as the best big sister to her little brother, Jason. She fell in love in high school. She and Ben Franzen have been together for 31 years. She went to work after graduating and most recently worked with titling and accounts payable for Mills Motors. Carrie was SUPER fun. She never shied away from trying something new, loved adventures outdoors especially four-wheeling and side by side rides, and looked forward to Harley rides with her love, Ben. Her home was full of animals three dogs and one cat and she spoiled them rotten. She LOVED music, had a great sense of humor with just a touch of sarcasm, and never missed the chance to spend time with many friends or family, especially her grandbabies. Carrie was a treasure who loved people and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband, Ben; daughter, Alli; sons, Jessen (Taylor) and Tyler; grandchildren, Sylvia and Archie; parents, Randy and Julie Wing; brother, Jason (Ahnna) Wing; in-laws, Mike and Rosemary Franzen; grandparents, Irene Jensen and Marcie Franzen; and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved deeply. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harvey and Rachel Wing, Albert and Beverly Dieter, Gus Franzen, and Richard Jensen.
