Charlotte Blume Obituary Charlotte "Charlie" Blume, age 81, resident of Brainerd, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Good Samaritan Society - Woodland. Charlotte is survived by her loving husband, John and their children, Kevin (Valerie) Blume, Connie (Bruce) Johnson, Greg Blume, and Kathy Billman; 8-grandchildren; 18-great grandchildren and 1-great great grandchild; sisters, Shirley Hall and Janet Norgard, many relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by 3 children, Ramona, Colleen and Jeff; her parents; 3-brothers and 1-sister. Charlotte lived a very eventful and fulfilling life, she owned her own seamstress business, raced her Pontiac Chiefton at North Central Speedway, renovated multiple home, volunteered and enjoyed spending her time at the Eagles Club. She was a very hard working individual, working up until the age of 79 before completely retiring. She loved visiting with family and friends. She will take a part of many peoples hearts with her. Services will held 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Deacon Tom Freece officiating. The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice, Meals on Wheels, Good Samaritan Society - Woodland and all family and friends who visited and lifted her spirits over the past years.
