Cheryl Ellickson Obituary Cheryl Dee Ellickson, age 66 of Brainerd, passed away at her home on Saturday, October 3, 2020. A memorial service for Cheryl and her mother, Dorothy Sundberg, will be held on Friday, July 16th, 2021 at First Lutheran Church. Visitation will be at 1:30, with service to follow at 2:00. Private interment will be later. Cheryl was born to Harry and Dorothy (Burk) Sundberg on November 26, 1953. Her father was in the Navy, which resulted in her moving around the country throughout her childhood. As an adult, her world revolved around her family, and she cherished every moment she got to spend with them. She was a great support to her husband and enjoyed helping with his business, Northern Sports. Her hobbies included gardening and being a loving mom and wife. Cheryl will be deeply missed by her husband, Marlow; son, Beau Sundberg; step-sons, Brandon and Daniel Ellickson; mom, Dorothy Sundberg; siblings, Gary (Ruth) Sundberg, Gayle Jacobson, and Larry (Kathy) Sundberg; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Sundberg.
