Craig Rye Obituary Craig Rye 47, died unexpectedly in an ATV accident December 19th, he will be deeply missed. Craig was born in Rochester, MN. April 30th 1964, graduated 1982 from Mayo High School. He has resided and made his living in floor covering in the Brainerd Lakes area for the last twelve years. He is survived by his parents Dave Rye, Preston MN and Sonja Meyers, North Port FL., siblings Scott Rye, Rochester MN., Chris Rye, Brainerd MN., Todd Rye, Wkoff MN., Lifetime partner Lois Skinner, Brainerd MN., daughters Jessica Ellman, Shakopee MN., Amy Loen, Rochester MN., Laura Romness, Brainerd, and six living grandchildren. Visitation: Thursday December 22nd 4-7pm at Nelson Doran funeral home Brainerd. With the celebration of life on Friday, December 23rd at 11am at Park United Methodist Church 315 6th St. N. Brainerd. Viewing is an hour prior to the service and lunch to follow. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and will continue the hour before services at the church on Friday.
