Curtis Meyer Obituary Curtis Michael Meyer, age 28, resident of Brainerd, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Essentia - St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Curtis was born in Brainerd on December 5, 1988 to Tony and Roxanne Meyer. Curtis' two older siblings, Josh and Jenny cherished Curtis as he was the baby of the family. Curtis graduated from Pierz Healy High School in 2007. He married Elizabeth Theisen, the love of his life, in Little Falls on October 20, 2012. Curtis became a loving and devoted father to his 'Tater Chip", Khloe and stepson, Connor. Curtis had been battling Osteosarcoma for 2 1/2 years. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. He was an avid outdoors-man and shot his first deer this past year. Curtis loved life and he touched the hearts of many people during his lifetime. He will always be remembered. Survived by his wife, Elizabeth Meyer; daughter, Khloe Meyer; stepson, Connor Kahle, mother, Roxanne Meyer, father, Tony Meyer; sister, Jennifer Meyer, brother, Joshua Meyer; grandfather, Ralph Meyer, grandfather, Jerome Callahan and step grandfather, Phil Riley. Curtis is preceded in death by his grandmother, Janet Meyer, grandmother, Sharron Williams; uncle, Kim Callahan and great aunt, Evelyn "BooBoo" Killingsted. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brained with Pastor Mark Boone officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
