Dan Bajula Obituary Dan Bajula, age 88, of Brainerd, died on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Essentia Health St. Josephs Medical Center in Brainerd. Dan had many hobbies to keep him busy, including fishing, woodworking, gardening, and in his younger years, playing country music on his guitar and playing a game or two of cards. Maryann "Annie" was the love of his life, and he dedicated everything he did to his marriage to her. He also enjoyed his role as grandpa and will be remembered for his kindness, compassion, and his stubborn side. Dan is survived by two daughters, Deborah Kowalzek and Carol (Mike) Baker; grandchildren, Jessica (Austin) Asher, Ryan Wirz, Brady Kowalzek, George (Amber) Mattson; numerous great-grandchildren and nephew, Dale Mortenson. He is preceded in death by his wife, Maryann; sister, Betty and his son. Dan's family will host a celebration of his life at Carol's Home (20805 Cadwell Avenue - Brainerd, MN 56401) on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
