Funeral Services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the Nelson-Doran in Brainerd. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home and interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.
Daniel was born on April 21, 1939, to Alfred and Marjorie (Hartman) Frazier. He is a 1957 graduate of Washington High School in Brainerd. Following high school graduation, Daniel enlisted in the Army National Guards and enjoyed working at Anderson Brothers. A few years later, Daniel began work at Honeywell before attending Minneapolis Technical College for his electrician certification. Daniel was a Journeyman Electrician for 35 years. In the 1980s, he began his career at Dicks Electric until his retirement in 1998. At the age of 65, and after learning to be quite adept at using a computer from his son-in-law, Greg, Daniel started publishing a monthly dance calendar that was emailed out. Six months ago, he emailed his last calendar to over 5000 people who have requested to be on his list. Daniel enjoyed camping and had a keen sense of the great outdoors. He enjoyed dancing, and country music, especially Johnny Cash. He had an innate ability to fix things or to create things to fix things; nothing was ever broken, because he would make sure to repair, improve or customize anything. He even made a crane with some unique engineering and was lucky when a friend of Jo-Anns was willing to test the weight capacity.
Above all, Daniel was social, enjoyed a good time, and had a great sense of humor; he was a hero to his daughter, Jo-Ann. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Daniel is survived by his daughter, Jo-Ann (Greg) FrazierHansen. He is preceded in death by his parents; Patricia (Jo-Anns mother); and wife, Betty.
