Darlene Haney Obituary Darlene "Sweed" C. Haney, 72, of Brainerd, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at St. Cloud Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior for visitation. Darlene was born September 11, 1951, in Brainerd, the daughter of Martin and Anna (Leiss) Bosch. Darlene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her time with her family, especially the weekends together at the lake. She was always up for a good time, especially with a game of 6-5-4 with her family and friends. She made many great friends during her career at Lindy Little Joe and the highlight of her career was working with the developmentally disabled at Productive Alternatives before retiring together with her husband. She will be dearly missed by her husband, John Haney; daughters, Dusti (Keith) Borg, Melissa (Mike) Borg; five grandchildren, Brian (Tara), Brad (Kristi), Nicole (Fletcher), Brent (Kennedee), and Tyler; 3 great-grandchildren, Brooke, Brekken, and Kade. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, David "Sonny" (Linda) Bosch, John (Diane) Bosch, and Daniel Bosch; 3 sisters, Lorene Meyer, Josie (Morris) Matten, and Pat Lane.
