David Wise Obituary David Dean Wise was born on Christmas Eve, 1952 in Butte Montana. He soon moved to Brainerd where he grew up on a farm East of town. The day after High School graduation he became employed by Northwest Paper Company later to be known as Potlatch. David took great pride in his work at Potlatch, working for the paper company and later for the City of Brainerd working to run the hydroelectric dam, for a combined 52 years. David loved fishing from his shore each evening, watching the moon rise above his beloved Lake Mille Lacs and watching the eagles gather on the ice to feast on the leftovers of the day. David is survived by his sisters, Victoria (Dan) Kunde, Rhonda Cosgrove, Penny (Kurt) Ehlers and Sister-in-Law Jenny Wise. He was preceded in death by his beloved dog Blackie, Father LaVern Wise, Mother Rose Wise, younger brother Ron Wise and brother-in-law Tom Cosgrove. A Celebration of Life is planned at a later date on the shores of Lake Mille Lacs.
