Dennis Vroman Obituary Dennis J. Vroman, 72, of Brainerd MN went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, May 4th, 2025. A visitation for Dennis will be held on Monday, May 12th from 2-4 p.m. at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home. Dennis was born on January 2nd, 1953, the son of Jack and Pearl (Schellin) Vroman. After graduating from Brainerd High School, Dennis worked faithfully at the Potlatch paper mill for many years. He was one of the hardest workers that anyone had ever met, at work and at home. He was united in marriage to Cheryl Jesperson on May 25th, 1974. The couple remained in the Brainerd Lakes Area, surrounded by family in the countryside. Dennis was an avid hunter and fisherman, who was rarely found indoors, always laboring in love. He cherished his time with his bride and family. Dennis is dearly missed by his love, Cheryl; his surviving daughter, Christa (Chad) Hartwig; his grandchildren, Alexandra Ruis, Jack Hartwig, Brandon Vroman, and Ashlyn Vroman; one great-granddaughter, Grayce Ruis; and his siblings, Les Vroman and Wendy Vanmoer. He was preceded in death by his beloved son Brendt Vroman, and his parents, Jack and Pearl Vroman.
