Obituary

Donna Junker Obituary Donna Marie Junker was born in Madelia, MN on June 27, 1930. She was the first child born to Clifford and Nancy Elizabeth Stinchfield being followed by her only sibling Ardis the following year. Donna graduated from Truman High School in 1948, met and then married her husband Delvin Junker, and moved to Brainerd when Del took a job at the First National Bank. Donnas life was centered around her love of family and love of God and church. Five children in the home kept life moving at a fast pace. After the children left home, Donna and Del wintered in Florida and spent summers in Brainerd. They moved to Tennessee in 1998 to be near their daughters DeEtte and Diane. In 2017, Donna moved back to Brainerd and spent her remaining years enjoying the peaceful view of North Long Lake. Donna is survived by three of her children: DeEtte Nicholson (TN), Dean Junker (IA), and Diane Junker (Brainerd); grandchildren: Jason, Erica, Emily, Jeremiah, and Betsy; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Del and sons Daniel and Doug. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, July 14th at Lakes Area Church of Christ (7001 Highland Scenic Road in Baxter) at 4:00 oclock P.M. She will be laid to rest in Ridgelawn Cemetery, near Truman, MN, the following day. Nelson Doran Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
