Dorothy Levno Obituary Dorothy J. Levno, age 94, of Brainerd, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 6, 2022, at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather for one hour prior to Mass. Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley. Dorothy (Dot) was born April 18, 1928, in Manannah, MN to Francis and Mary (Straus) Nistler. On September 3, 1949, she was united in marriage to Raymond Levno. The couple raised their family in Minneapolis until 1975 when they moved to the Brainerd lakes area. She will be missed by her seven children, Dan (Pam) Levno, of Brainerd, Sue (Ron) Lindgren, of Fergus Falls, Pam (Tim) McConville, of Minneapolis, Char (Scott) Squire, of Hanover, Lisa (Kyle) Hawkinson, of Brainerd, Julie (Jeff) Czech, of Brainerd and Pat Levno, of Brainerd; 21 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Loretta Utecht, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Raymond; and siblings, Ervie, Sally, Thredo and Maris. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Edgewood Vista Brainerd, especially Kayla, RN, and to St. Croix Hospice.
