Doug Bowman Obituary Doug P. Bowman, 79, of Brainerd, MN, passed away peacefully at his home on February 26, 2025. He was born on December 28, 1945, in Hibbing, MN, to Benjamin and Laura (Bowman) Larson. Doug was recognized for his impressive skills in hunting and fishing. He enjoyed long car rides and playing Bluegrass Bass. He devoted many years to North Star Plating, where his diligent work polishing bumpers earned him a respected and valued position within the company. He was preceded in death by his mother Laura (Bowman) Larson; Father Benjamin Bowman; Stepfather Gunnard Larson; brother Gaylord Bowman; sister Charlotte Grant; nephew Troy Bowman. Doug is survived by his wife Donna Bowman; his children Shelly (Ron) Christopherson and Scott (Kristi) Bowman; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Doug will fondly be remembered by his brother Keith (Geri) Bowman. We extend a special Thank You to Frannie, Heather, Paige, Connie, and Sheila from Moments Hospice for their support and care.
