Dwayne Scofield Obituary Dwayne Alvin Scofield, 74, passed away on May 6, 2025, at Essentia Health - St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Dwayne Alvin Scofield, of Brainerd, MN, was the 4th born child of Alvin and Rita (Quinn) Scofield. He attended Robbinsdale School District. He joined the U.S. Navy, serving 10 years on ship, during the Vietnam War. He returned to Minneapolis to set up home and was working at various machine shops. He then moved to Brainerd where he enjoyed hunting and fishing and watching baseball and football on TV. Special times were gatherings with family and friends. Dwayne is survived by his sisters, Colleen Olson and Alvina Anderson; nephews, Eric Olson, Scott Olson, Mike (Fern) Stenson, Stephen (Madison) Scofield, David (Christian) Scofield; nieces, Lori Schlegel and Kelly Staudt. A Gathering will be held at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd, MN, on May 20, 2025, at 1pm. Interment with Military Honors at 2pm at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
