Elizabeth Aulie Obituary Elizabeth "Liz" Aulie, age 69 of Brainerd, died on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Edgewood Vista Brainerd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Brainerd. Liz was born to George and Mary Jane (OBrien) Aulie on October 12, 1952. After graduating from Crosby High School she attended the University of Minnesota Morris and earned her Masters Degree. She taught French at the high school level for many years, this included many trips to France with her students. She enjoyed her many travels, volunteering and reading. Liz had quiet mannerisms and a kind heart. She is survived by her sister, Margaret Stanford; nieces and nephews, James (Kim) Stanford, Mike Stanford, Jeff Stanford, Christine (Mark) Anderson and Stephanie (Tom) Rasmussen; and many other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Catherine Hoffman.
