Elizabeth (Betty) Waller Kirk passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Essentia Health-St. Joesph's Medical Center. She was born at the family farm in Richardson Township, Morrison County, Minnesota on April 18, 1930. Betty was the youngest of five children of Edyth (Lewis) and Arba Waller.

Betty is survived by her children; Daniel and Andrea Holmes, Michael and Carole Holmes, Nancy Huckstead, and Lori and Hank Schleber; 16 grandchildren , 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond Holmes and Claude Kirk; parents; sister, Phyllis Whitney; brothers, Clair Waller, Arvid Waller and Jean Waller.

At Betty's request, there will be no funeral, but graveside services at Lakeview Cemetery in Hillman will be held in late spring or early summer.
