Elred Speldrich Obituary Elred T. Speldrich passed away on Friday December 23, 2016 at home in Brainerd, MN. He was born on August 21, 1922 in Mahnomen, MN to Joseph and Clara (Barton) Speldrich. Elred married Rose Eidenschink of Detroit Lakes, MN in 1947. They farmed in Mahnomen, MN for 32 years then moved to Merrifield in 1979. During those Elred worked for Crosslake Lumber and Bittner Construction. Then in 1993 they moved to Brainerd. He is survived by his wife Rose of 69 years and seven daughters and five sons. Timothy (Mindy) Speldrich, Kevin Speldrich, Joann Larson and Patricia Chisholm all of Brainerd. Mary Ann (Howard) Bennis, Tavares, Florida; Robert (Rose) Speldrich, Climax, MN; Bonita (Gerald) Tabbut, Wilmar, MN; Beverly (Bob) Seay, Roscoe, IL; Thomas (Lorri) Speldrich, Viroqua, WI; Kathleen (Dean) Kent, Annandale, MN; Donald Speldrich , Greenwood, Indiana; Linda (Chuck) Buss, Warroad, MN., He is also survived by thirty two grandchildren, forty four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, brother, Joe (Mary) Speldrich, St. Paul, MN and his beloved dog Jasmine (Puppy-doo). He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Virginia Eidenschink, grandson, Andy Speldrich and great grandson, Linden Halverson. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday December 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Catholic Church. Visitation will be 5 - 7 PM, concluding with a prayer service at 7:00 PM Tuesday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.
