Frances Holmgren Obituary Frances Fay Holmgren, age 88, resident of Brainerd passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Good Samaritan Society - Bethany. Frances was born on February 11, 1922 in Edgeley, North Dakota to Cicil and Alma (Staffberg) McIntgre. She is survived by her children, Kerry (Joann) Holmgren; Kathy (Ron) Rader; Elaine (Bryan) Johnson; Gene Holmgren. She was honored to be a grandmother to eight grandchildren, Steven, Andrea, Neil, Julie, Kelly, Kyle, Jake and Sarah; She was blessed with three great grandchildren, Breanna, Sophie and Peyton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell on February 3, 1982. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Lakewood Evangelical Free Church in Baxter with Reverend Mark Whittemore officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Nisswa. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM on Tuesday at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and will continue the hour before services at the church on Wednesday.
