Gail Imgrund, age 99, of Brainerd, died on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at Woodland – Good Samaritan Society in Brainerd.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Brainerd. A visitation will be for one hour prior. Interment at Minnesota Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, Friday, October 16th at 10:00 a.m.

Gail was born to John and Mary Copa in Little Falls on December 19, 1926. She was employed at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd as a supervisor in Medical Records for many years. She enjoyed crosswords, reading, cake decorating and traveling with her husband. She had a strong work ethic and was a strong, smart and stern mother.

She is survived by four children, John (Dee), Vernon and David Imgrund and Joyce Shiner; five grandchildren, two sisters, Betty Wilson and Bernice Prodraza, and her sister-in-law, Jackie Zuhar. She is preceded in death by her husband, John ‘Sugarplum’, sisters, Delphene Brown, Rosemary Calhoon, and Roberta Latimere; brother, Anthony Copa and her parents.
