Helen Billman Obituary Helen Mae Billman, 92, of Brainerd, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Golden Horizons Assisted Living in Crosslake. Helens family will celebrate her life with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Nelson Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Family and friends will begin gathering one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Helen was born April 17, 1930, in Brainerd, the daughter of John and Harriet (Wrobel) Wgeishofski. In February of 1947, Helen married Lynn Billman. They were blessed with a son Bill. Helen liked to fish and although she wasnt a fan, spent many years ricing. She enjoyed crocheting and traveling. Helen and Lynn frequently went West. She was an avid card player who had quite the competitive streak. Above all, Helen cherished moments with her family - especially, during the holidays. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 75 years, Lynn; son, Bill (Bonnie) Billman; grandchildren, Brenda (Jeremy) Billman-Arndt and Barb (Jason) Lyons; greatgrandchildren, Jason Lyons, Jr., Brady Lyons, Tryston Arndt, and Silas Arndt; brother, John (Mike) Wgeishofski; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Joyce Harris and Robert Wgeishofski.
