Helen Tougas Obituary Helen Adelle Tougas, age 99, resident of Little Falls, formerly of Fort Ripley, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 in St. Ottos Care Center in Little Falls. Helen was born in Brainerd on February 15, 1919 to Charles and Lois (Anderson) Olson. She was a 75+ year member of Christian Mothers, CCW, member of St. Mathias Catholic Church and member of 4H and Garden Club. She is survived by her 5 children, Lois Juntunen, Stephen (Jeanette) Tougas, Valene Smude, Beverly (Arvin) Hansmann and Lorena Tougas; 18-grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Verna Olson. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Stephen; son, Robert; Brother, Bernard and sister, Lorraine Thienes. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at St. Mathias Catholic Church in St Mathias Township with Father Daniel Weiske officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue the hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
