Henry Rivet Obituary Henry Rivet resided in Brainerd Minnesota and was 103 years old. He passed away on November 16, 2024. He was born in Lisbon, Maine on April 9, 1921. He lived in Linwood, Massachusetts where he finished high school. After school, he joined the Army Air Corps and served as a Staff Sargeant during World War II. He was in the military from 9/1/1942 to 11/26/1945 and was stationed in Great Britain during his time of service and honorably discharged. He married Mary Patricia Murray on April 17, 1948, and raised three children in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, James Rivet, Paul Rivet and Patricia Rivet. After serving in the military, he began his career with Whitin Machine Works and spent over twenty-five years of service in progressively more responsible positions during this time. His primary responsibilities during his career were in the engineering field where he worked as a Product Engineer. He took a great deal of interest in playing and following baseball throughout his life as well as being very dedicated to supporting his family. He is predeceased by his wife Mary Patricia Rivet and son Paul Rivet. He is survived by his son James Rivet (Susan) and daughter Patricia Rivet Nelson (David). In addition, he is survived by three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
