Howard Manning Obituary Howard L. Manning, age 83, passed away surrounded by his loving wife, Sharon; son, Jeff; and daughter, Kim on Monday, February 26, 2024. Howard was born in Red Wing, MN. He moved to Minneapolis when he was 7 years old. He married Sharon in 1959. They moved to Hillman, MN in 2000. Known for his quick wit, stubborn determination, and exceptional handiness; he was a beloved figure cherished for his devotion to family, passion for cars, knowledge of awesome motorcycles, and strong belief in "Making America Great Again." His departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his legacy of love and laughter will endure in the hearts of all who knew and cherished him. May God bless Howard L. Manning as he rests in peace. Howard was preceded in death by his son Mark; his parents, John, and Verna; and brother, Kerry. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughter, Kim; son, Jeff; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 11-4PM at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd.
