Illamae Dobson Obituary Illamae Mary Dobson, age 92, Brainerd area resident since 1940, died on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Essentia - St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Illamae was born on June 22, 1918 to William and Veronica (Stroh) Strang. Illamae was a member of the Moose and the V.F.W Auxiliary, she enjoyed dancing and crocheting. She worked for Hickerson Garment Factory for many years. Survived by her children, Roberta Livingston, Brainerd; Mary Bajula, WA; Robert Dobson, Brainerd; Frank Dobson, Bemidji; Marlys Matten, Brainerd; sister, Bertha Milton, Onamia; brother, Clifford Strang, Onamia; 22-grandchildren; 59-great grandchildren and 35-great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Frank" Dobson, daughter, Margaret Doty, grandchildren, Laurie Ableman and Melissa Dobson; 4-brother; 3-sisters and her son-in-law, Donald Livingston. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Tony Wroblewski officiating.
