Jack Vroman Obituary Jack F. Vroman, age 83, resident of Brainerd, died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Good Samaritan Society-Bethany. Jack was born in Nortonville, North Dakota on May 27, 1927 to Royce and Gladys Vroman. He served in the US Navy during World War II and was a member of the VFW. He was a "Jack of all trades" and an outsdoorsman. Surviving are his children- Wendy (John) VanMoer, Dennis (Cheryl) Vroman, and Les (Julie) Vroman; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; siblings Joyce Mailhot and Lucille Lind. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Pearl, and grandson Brendt. Visitation will begin at 9 AM with Funeral Service at 11 AM Monday, May 23 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Baxter. Burial will be in Dykeman Cemetery with military honors provided by VFW Post #1647 Color Guard. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the church on Monday.
