Jacqueline Meyer Obituary Jacqueline J (Wentzel) Meyer passed away December 27, 2023 in Brainerd. She was born January 29, 1933 in Finley, ND. She lived in Brainerd her adult life. She married Jack Meyer on August 30, 1952. They spent 25 yrs in the Air Force traveling the U.S. and the World. Settling back to Brainerd, where Jacki retired from Lincoln Elementary, where she was the school secretary for 25 years. A service for Jacki will take place on June 21, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd. Please wear MN Twins apparel or colors as a nod to Jackis love of the MN Twins. Interment took place at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN. Jacki was active in Sons of Norway, Order of Eastern Star, Trinity Lutheran Church and later Bethel Lutheran Church. She sold tickets for BHS activities for 20 yrs. Her hobbies included canning anything from her garden, knitting, baking, and painting projects her and Jack made together. She loved watching the MN Twins. Most of all Jacki and Jack enjoyed their lake home, they shared for 60 years. She loved watching loons on the lake. Jacki is survived by her son, John Meyer (LeighAnn), daughter, Janet Paulson. Many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great children. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Jack E. Meyer. Memorials are preferred to Bethel Lutheran Church 10914 5 Mile Road, Brainerd.
