James Jordan Obituary James Lavern Jordan, 87, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at his home in Baxter, MN. Jim was born on February 13, 1937, to Charles and Helen (Bossue) Jordan in Brainerd, MN. After graduation from Brainerd High School, he worked at the Brainerd State Hospital. Jim married Patricia (Dahlin) on December 31, 1960, and they had one son, Michael. Jim and Patricia were married for 60 years until her death in 2021. Jim and his family moved from Brainerd to California in 1964 where Jim worked for the California School District for 28 years. After which he and Patricia moved to Henderson, Nevada in 1992 where Jim worked for Walmart. They then moved from Henderson to Tomah, Wisconsin and lastly moved to Baxter, MN in 2014. On December 16, 2022, Jim married Rita Miller also from Baxter. Jim will be missed by his beloved wife Rita, brother Ernie Jordan, sister Sharon (Jordan) Johnson, son Michael and granddaughter Wednesday. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Helen Jordan; sister Marie (Jordan) Reynolds; brothers Jerry and Robert Jordan; and his wife Patricia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 11am. Family and friends are invited to gather at 10am for the visitation. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Brainerd, MN. Luncheon to follow at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Nelson-Doran Funeral Home.
