James Thompson Obituary James "Jim" Alexander Thompson, age 88, of Brainerd, died on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at his home. Jim was born to John and Ruth (Dykeman) Thompson in Brainerd, on July 21, 1932. He married Emily Hillman and together they had 3 children. He bravely served his country in the United States Army. Jim in survived by his wife, Emily; three children, John (Heather), Jeff (Wanda), and Beth Thompson; two grandchildren, Jeremy and Aaron Thompson, and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his two sisters, Beryl and Joyce. Services will be held at a later date.
