Jane Plum, age 90, of Pequot Lakes, passed away peacefully at home with her family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Jane was known for her generous heart, strong work ethic, and welcoming spirit. She loved to cook and made sure no person—or animal—ever left her care hungry. She always looked for the good in others and had a special gift for making everyone feel at home and loved. Jane was also a proud business owner, operating The Bait Box and The Pizza House in Crosslake. Jane was an avid fan of the Minnesota Twins and Wild, especially Max Kepler and Kirill Kaprizov. She took great pride in keeping a spotless home and will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the love she shared with everyone around her.

She is survived by her three daughters, Sandi (Brian) Sabin, Lori Plum and Sherri Carlson; grandchildren, Brandon Plum and Ashley, Erica and Amber Cardoza and two great grandchildren she cherished more than anything, Logan and Finley. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; son, Scott Carlson and two brothers, Walter and Edward.
