Janice Zobeck Obituary Jan Zobeck was born July 30, 1941, to Joseph & Rebecca Carriere, in Terrebonne, MN. She passed away peacefully on June 14, 2022, at the age of 80, in Brainerd, MN, with family by her side. She is survived by her three children, Mark (Bridgette), Michelle (Dan Lien), and Rhonda (Andy Dosser), and nine grandchildren. Jan grew up in Hallock, MN, along with siblings Danny, Lucy, Duane, Elsie and Roger, where her parents operated a movie theater. In October 1961, Jan married Mel Zobeck, eventually settling in White Bear Lake, MN, where they raised their family. They were members of St. Pius X Church. Jan spent many years working as an aide at White Bear Care Center and Manitou Place apartments. She had a caring heart, and often spent time with residents, even when not working. She also kept busy with cleaning several local businesses and homes, as well as with Mel in their cookware business. Shortly after Mels passing in 2012, Jan moved to Brainerd, to the Bethany apartments of the Good Samaritan Society. Jan always had friends everywhere she went and had a genuine care for all of those she was surrounded by. Her faith in God was a very important part of her life. She will be greatly missed by all. A gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 23rd, from 1 - 4 PM, with a short service at 2:30 PM, at Lakewood Evangelical Free Church, 6284 Fairview Road, Baxter, MN.
